Life Design Workshop With Meditation + Sound Bath

Life Design Workshop is a gathering for the modern-day soul seeker to create and sustain a self-care practice with simple tools that can be used on a weekly and even daily basis. While for many, it may feel counterintuitive or even selfish to take time away from the endless load of responsibilities, reconnecting with yourself every day can help reduce stress and promote concentration, productivity, and inspiration to develop healthy habits.  

The evening will begin with neuroscientist and meditation teacher, Nkechi Njaka will lead the group through a guided meditation with musical accompaniment from Tauwoo to reflect on what we’ve just learned. The meditation is designed to explore and discover practical ways to implement mindfulness in the everyday life for self-expression and embodiment. This class will combine the calming aspects of mindfulness and meditation through awareness of breath and sensation to achieve consciousness, self-expression, increased energy, nervous system regulation and overall balance of mind and body.

Next, women’s life coach, Joanne Encarnacion of GOFITJO will take us through a workshop delving into emotional blocks. Through a series of exercises, Encarnacion will show us how to create holistic balance in our lives and define goals for the upcoming year that allow us to  move forward. This will be structured around the theme of liberation and clarity. As she puts it, “2019 was the year to break shit up and align ourselves with 2020 vision—clarity, focus, expansion.” 

The evening will conclude with a sound bath from Tauwoo.

Doors open at 6:45pm. Please arrive early to check in and get settled!
