Streamlining the intersection of home and work.

While we are sheltered in place, we’re perhaps more focused on our homes than ever as we figure out how to create WFH spaces, navigate being around the people we live with constantly, and refresh for the new season. In this workshop, San Francisco-based fashion, lifestyle, and travel photographer, art director, and stylist, Anna-Alexia Basile walks us through how to de-clutter, organize, and streamline each space functionally and aesthetically so each room is used to its prime potential.

As a self-employed photographer, organization has been key to Anna-Alexia’s success—both in how she executes her creative projects as well as how she runs her business. In the last eight years of working from home she’s realized that maintaining an inspiring, efficient, and cozy space has been paramount to producing her best work, and she’s excited to share her spacial tips with you!

What you’ll get out of this:

  • A step-by-step walk through with an in-depth analysis of the kitchen, living room, work space, bedroom, and closet with a breakdown of arrangement by activity, furniture, and decor placement.
  • Tips on how to create a work from home station on a budget and establish boundaries.
  • Learn how to de-clutter, determine what’s important to keep, organize, and make it all beautiful.
  • Tactics for harmonious cohabitation including dealing with messy roommates, children, a partner, etc.
  • Attendees can also submit their own rooms before the event for Anna to go over at the end.

About Anna-Alexia

Anna-Alexia Basile is a San Francisco-based fashion, lifestyle and travel photographer. She grew up in the tropics of Florida where warm bodies of water, heat and the colorful outdoors shaped her vision. She shoots internationally with clients like J Crew, Refiner29, Into the Gloss, Google, Disney and Hyatt. Anna-Alexia is attracted to reflection, monochromatic spaces, well-defined shadows and the human form. She enjoys contradiction and explores both order and serendipity in her work, controlling some aspects of the shot and allowing others to happen naturally. Most important—her world is ruled by color!
