
Meditation + Live Music for Afghanistan
In August, the Taliban regained control of Kabul following President Biden’s abrupt withdrawal of American troops. The country is now in economic and political turmoil as the new regime organizes itself, and women and minority groups fear the civil rights restrictions that will inevitably be enacted by the Taliban.

This event, hosted by Wana Azam, will include a 20 minute meditation with live music from RESONANCE. Wana will also share a bit of her story as a daughter to Afghan refugees. 100% of ticket sales will be donated to the Enabled Children’s Initiative, which serves disabled children in Afghanistan.

Wana Azam
Wana Azam is the daughter of Afghan refugees who is working with Enabled Children’s Initiative to raise funds for disabled children in Kabul. Read her story here.
She is also a brand strategist and founder of Ullabelle, a minimalist baby line designed for the modern parent. Prior to launching her own line, she was a planner for Restoration Hardware’s Baby and Child; and then a merchant at Gap, where she worked on photo strategy and produced e-commerce shoots.
