The event will be hosted by @whereiswana, who will also share a bit of her story as a daughter to Afghan refugees. 100% of ticket sales will be donated to @enabledchildren, which serves orphaned and abandoned children with disabilities in Afghanistan. In August, the Taliban regained control of Kabul following President Biden’s abrupt withdrawal of American troops. The country is now in economic and political turmoil as the new regime organizes itself, and women and minority groups fear the civil rights restrictions that will inevitably be enacted by the Taliban.

Stepping back into the limelight. It’s been a wh

Stepping back into the limelight. It’s been a while since we’ve last posted and honestly the pressure to keep up with the grind just didn’t make sense unless there was something truly meaningful to share. On a platform where sometimes it feels like people are always yelling, it was nice just to leave space; and then share in stories when there was something compelling, inspiring, or funny.

The concept of space has been top of mind lately tying into so many different channels—holding space for others; creating and connecting to our own mental and physical realms; the distances between people in intimacy, understanding, acceptance, and disparity; and the gap between inspiration and burnout. In a time of incredible instability, our realities are tilting and cracking. In our own self-discovery, we’ve been honing in on that space in between breaking and mending—that terrifyingly special place of becoming something new, something better.
